Letter six

A To the brethren of reconciliation, called to the general assembly and to the election of the body of Jesus Christ, according to the will of God, to partake in the mark of the high calling. Grace, peace and joy be multiplied abundantly to you from our Father, through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Brethren, our  redeemer declared that the b Son of man is come to seek and to save those which  where lost.” And furthermore, c ” that salvation  is of  the Jews.” This is what the gospel of  reconciliation has to do with. For in the types and shadows of the Jews, we read in Deuteronomy, that Moses spoke unto them, saying: d “ Because you served not the LORD your God With joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things; Therefore you shall  serve your enemies which the Lord shall send against you, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and be in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon your neck, until he have destroyed you.”

There is a trial, that was told, that would come upon all the Earth. We read of it in Revelations 3:7-13.  And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things says he that is holy, he that is true, he that has the key of David, he that opens, and not any can shut; and shuts, and not any can open; I know your works: behold, I have set before you an open door, and not anyone can shut it: for you have a little strength, and have kept my word, and have not denied my name. Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you. Because you have kept the word of my patience, I also will keep you from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which you have, that no one take your crown. They that overcome will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and they shall go no more out: and I will write upon them the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon them my new name.  They that have an ear, let them hear what the Spirit says unto the churches.

Of the word “temptation In verse 10, and in Strong’s: we read of the Greek translation, of the word: peirasmos pronounced  pi-ras-mos:

You that have an ear, know this: sin is the transgression of the law, and the law is spiritual, therefore the sin is spiritual. You see below in Strong’s interpretations that they ─ the Elect ─ are alluring to the flesh, not spirit.

Two thirds of the Elect are cut off and die, because they fail to crucify the flesh. After starting, they do not  continue on to perfection.

Strong’s. exclamation is as follows:   Transgression of the Law is sin, and the Law is Spiritual; therefore the sin is spiritual.

      An experiment, attempt, trial, proving

1a) trial, proving: the trial made of you by my bodily condition, since condition served as to test the love of the Galatians toward Paul (Gal. 4:14)

For the Galatians were being drawn away from the Grace of Jesus Christ, by the spirit of the Northern Families who affected them, temping them to be succored by their ungodly spirit.

1b)  the trial of man’s fidelity, integrity, virtue, constancy

1b1)  an enticement to sin, temptation, whether arising from the desires or from the outward circumstances

1b2)  an internal temptation to sin

1b2a)   of the temptation by which the devil sought to divert Jesus the Messiah from his divine errand

1b3)  of the condition of things, or a mental state, by which we are enticed to sin, or to a lapse from the faith and holiness

1b4)  adversity, affliction, trouble: sent by God and serving to test or prove one’s character, faith, holiness

1c)   temptation (i.e. trial) of God by men

1c1) rebellion against God, by which his power and justice are, as it were, put to the proof and challenged to show

          themselves.

We read of this in many places, one place is in the prayer that our teacher has taught us is recorded in Matthew 6: 6-13: Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For your’s is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

This evil is what Jeremiah is prophesying about.

What all this comes to, is this: That we love our God with all that we are in Spirit and Truth, for ever.

With the religions of the world it is a great temptation for an infant on the milk of the Word of God to be lead into them, but our Lord has said: pray this way: After this manner therefore you pray: d1Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For your’s is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

This evil is what Jeremiah, during Josiah’s rein in 604 BC, is prophesying about: d2And the word of the LORD came unto me the second time, saying, What do you see?  And I said, I see a seething pot; and the face of it is toward the north.  Then the LORD said unto me, Out of the north an evil shall break forth upon all the inhabitants of the land.  For, lo, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north, says the LORD; and d3 they shall come, and they shall set every one his throne at the entering of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all the walls thereof round about, and against all the cities of Judah.

What good can the nations do for the young ones? Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. ▬ Since all that the nations hope for are non-spiritual things: (that is the unrighteous mammon: (riches of the world)). Therefore this is what God’s wrath is all about: He is using His wrath to test us, to see if we truly want truth or an image. For since Jesus Christ came into the world, until this present time, God’s hand has been turned upon the little ones (that is the very young in Christ) see Zechariah:

d4 Says the LORD of hosts: Smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones. The Shepherd is smitten because He is spirit and the nations preach him as He were earthy.

d5He gently leads those that have young. Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, or with the breadth of his hand marked off the heavens? Who has held the dust of the earth in a basket, or weighed the mountains on the scales and the hills in a balance? Who has understood the mind of the LORD, or instructed him as his counselor? Whom did the LORD consult to enlighten him, and who taught him the right way? Who was it that taught him knowledge or showed him the path of understanding? Surely the nations are like a drop in a bucket; they are regarded as dust on the scales; he weighs the islands as though they were fine dust. Lebanon is not sufficient for altar fires, nor its animals enough for burnt offerings. Before him all the nations are as nothing; they are regarded by him as worthless and less than nothing.

They, d6 the Jews were a type, a figure not the very real, even as the lawgiver was; as also the nations they were scattered into. For they went into exile because they served not  the LORD their God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things. This abundance of all things is a foreshadow of what the Lord God, is saying by Isaiah, when he says, e “But be you glad and rejoice forever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.” But what is this, that we are to rejoice in? It is what our redeemer is saying in John f “ Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it to you. All things that the Father has are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall show it to you.” And this is that, that our Father is eternally creating, that we are commanded to rejoice in. g But what did we do, we cast our pearls before swine and gave that which is holy to dogs, a thing that our Savior said not to do. For when the Spirit of Truth gave us pearls of wisdom, we insulted our Savior by asking a pig or dog what the words meant ¾ for to be a prodigal son, in subjection to locusts, under the wrath of God, is a terrible thing. See Joel chapter two. h This is sin, for the law is spiritual.

It is written: before the foundation of the world that the Godhead ordained the things that have been occurring from the time that Jesus Christ came into the flesh, until the present time in this, the twenty first century. And our brethren and we are hearing and seeing those things written of us and things pertaining to us:

Then our Lord turned to his disciples and said privately, i “Blessed are the eyes that see what you see. For I tell you that many prophets and righteous ones, wanted to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.

For as it is written in John, our Lord said: j “I have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.

For in the prophets, it is written of God’s wrath upon the land, because of unrighteousness. It is written:  k For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

L “When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near. — Remember the Word of God is always Spirit not flesh. And Jerusalem is what Sarah our mother is speaking to, for she is the new covenant. — Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country not enter the city.  For this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written.  How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people.  They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

Below we see the ungodly desolations — for their fiery unholy doctrine is built upon flesh and their faith is carnal. While our Lord was in the flesh, he taught us to pray; and one thing particular was: m And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. This evil comes from the north, See the boiling pot in Jeremiah below. This is where all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, but this pertains only to those called to the election of the Saints Of God. For only one third are elected. Those of the north are still coming at this present time. (see Joel chapter two.).

The Lord God speaks to Jeremiah:

n The word of the LORD came to me: “What do you see, Jeremiah?”

“I see the branch of an almond tree,” I replied.

The LORD said to me, “You have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled.”

The word of the LORD came to me again: “What do you see?”

“I see a boiling pot, tilting away from the north,” I answered.

The LORD said to me, “From the north disaster will be poured out on all who live in the land.   I am about to summon all the peoples of the northern kingdoms,” declares the LORD. “Their kings will come and set up their thrones in the entrance of the gates of Jerusalem; they will come against all her surrounding walls and against all the towns of Judah.  I will pronounce my judgments on my people because of their wickedness in forsaking me, in burning incense to other gods and in worshiping what their hands have made.

N1Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples. And I will wait for the Lord who is hiding His face from the house of Jacob; I will even look eagerly for Him. Behold, I and the children whom the Lord has given me are for signs and wonders in Israel from the Lord of hosts, who dwells on Mount Zion.

N2 Declare in Judah and proclaim in Jerusalem, and say, “Blow the trumpet in the land;

Cry aloud and say, ‘Assemble yourselves, and let us go

Into the fortified cities.’

“Lift up a standard toward Zion!

Seek refuge, do not stand still,

For I am bringing evil from the north,

And great destruction.

“A lion has gone up from his thicket,

And a destroyer of nations has set out;

He has gone out from his place

To make your land a waste.

Your cities will be ruins

Without inhabitant.

  “For this, put on sackcloth,

Lament and wail;

For the fierce anger of the Lord

Has not turned back from us.”

“And it shall come about in that day,” declares the Lord, “that the heart of the king and the heart of the princes will fail; and the priests will be appalled, and the prophets will be astounded.”

Then I said, “Ah, Lord God! Surely You have utterly deceived this people and Jerusalem, saying, ‘You will have peace’; whereas a sword touches the throat.”

In that time it will be said to this people and to Jerusalem, “A scorching wind from the bare heights in the wilderness in the direction of the daughter of My people—not to winnow, and not to cleanse,  a wind too strong for this—will come at My command; now I will also pronounce judgments against them.

N3 One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.”

He said to them, “When you pray, say:

”‘Father,

hallowed be your name,

your kingdom come.

Give us each day our daily bread.

 Forgive us our sins,

for we also forgive everyone who sins against us.

And lead us not into temptation and deliver us from evil.’”

For yours is the power and glory forever.

Then he said to them, “Suppose one of you has a friend, and he goes to him at midnight and says, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves of bread,   because a friend of mine on a journey has come to me, and I have nothing to set before him.’

“Then the one inside answers, ‘Don’t bother me. The door is already locked, and my children are with me in bed. I can’t get up and give you anything.’   I tell you, though he will not get up and give him the bread because he is his friend, yet because of the man’s boldness he will get up and give him as much as he needs.

“So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.   For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

“Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead?   Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion?   If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

In Matthew, we read how the Lord God reproved the hypocrites for indeed they were of the spirits of the Northern kings: O “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You will travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when they become converted, you make them twice as much a child of hell as you are. When one is converted from one doctrine to another, they then have two doctrines combined, hence twice as much a child of hell. You see this in Revelations:  p Then the angel said to me, “The waters you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations and languages.  The beast and the ten horns you saw will hate the prostitute. They will bring her to ruin and leave her naked; they will eat her flesh and burn her with fire.   For God has put it into their hearts to accomplish his purpose by agreeing to give the beast their power to rule, until God’s words are fulfilled.   The woman you saw is the great city that rules over the kings of the earth.”

And Moses spoke to the Jews, q  “And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon you, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before you, and you shall call them to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD your God has driven you, And shall return unto the LORD your God, and shall obey his voice according to all that I command you this day, you and your children, with all your heart, and with all your soul; That then the LORD your God will turn your captivity, and have compassion upon you, and will return and gather you from all the nations, whither the LORD your God has scattered you. If any of yours be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from there will the LORD your God gather you, and from there will he fetch you: And the LORD your God will bring you into the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it; and he will do you good, and multiply you above your fathers. And the LORD your God will circumcise your heart, and the heart of your seed, to love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, that you may live.”

For at the time appointed, Stephen was stoned ¾  and here God makes it rain upon the righteous and unrighteous alike. For though Saul consented to the death of Stephen, it was Paul that Jesus Christ sent to preach the Gospel of Reconciliation to us. As he, Judas went into damnation, It was necessary that he, Saul come from such a state, that we the lost might be found, by the preaching of the Gospel of Reconciliation, so preached by the Apostle Paul.

Dear brethren, you have heard how that many have said , that antichrist will come and what he will do when he comes. (for they extol and praise him ¾ anyone that allures to the flesh, that spirit is not of God). However he has already come and is working; for we hear from the Spirit through our beloved brother Paul:  r  Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers,  not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by some prophecy, report or letter supposed to have come from us, saying that the day of the Lord has already come.  Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction.  He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.

Don’t you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these things?  And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time.  For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming.  The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders,  and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.  For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie  and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.” But we ought always to thank God for you, brothers loved by the Lord, because from the beginning God chose you to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth. He called you to this through our gospel, that you might share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. So then, brothers, stand firm and hold to the teachings we passed on to you, whether by word of mouth or by letter.

May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope,  encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word”

Now brethren, you have heard what antichrist will do, but first there will be a falling away ¾ it is not a one day event like the 4th of July: some place you are going to, but like the day of Salvation, it is a day of Resurrection, our Lord Jesus Christ is the Resurrection. If you want to began to see the true church of God, then behold this description:  s But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just ones made perfect, to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.”

Peter asked our Lord the question: t “what have we that leave all and follow you into the regeneration.” The answer is as follows: And Jesus said unto them, u  Verily I say unto you, That you which have followed me, into the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, you also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life. But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first. “

Well brethren, here we see the reasons why our Lord went through the regeneration,  for he took on a spiritual body ¾ as we all do, who follow him ¾ However there is another reason, If Jesus Christ did not do all that He did, including the virgin birth, the  crucifixion, and everything in between,  then antichrist would not have any basis for building his earthy kingdoms. And without these kingdoms there would not be any place to drive us into exile. v For though we knew Jesus Christ after the flesh, we do not know Him or anyone any more after the flesh, w for we see a new crucifixion in the spirit, Hebrews 6: For as touching those who were once enlightened and tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit, and tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the age to come, and then fell away, it is impossible to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves  the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.  For they blaspheme the holy spirit, so in Mark we read of them, hense: w1 Verily I say unto you, All their sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and their blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme: 29but whosoever shall blaspheme against the Holy Spirit has never forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin.  That is, when One belives darkness to be light.

w2But, beloved, we are confident of better things concerning you, yes, things that accompany salvation, though we speak in this manner. For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister. And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
